Megan Gibb

Year 5 class

Megan is from North Devon, England. She attended Idrætshøjskolen I Aarhus in 2018 on a sports scholarship to participate in their Handball Academy following completion of the Academic Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence. After discovering a true love of all things hygge, she decided to pursue a career in teaching in Denmark.

She returned back to the UK to graduate from Leeds Beckett University with a 1st Class BA (Hons.) in Physical Education before completing her Primary PGCE with Bath Spa University in 2023, with placements across Devon and Somerset.

Outside of the classroom, Megan enjoys cooking, reading and exploring new places in Denmark, especially hiking routes. She is excited to continue learning Danish so that she can better integrate into society and explore the many sports options that Ikast has to offer.
