Maxi Nowak

German; Additional Educational Needs Co-ordinator (AENCO)

Maxi Nowak is originally from Berlin, Germany. After a voluntary year with the Travelling Folk High School which lead her from England to Denmark and further to Namibia. There she was part of a project fighting HIV and AIDS. Experiencing how powerful knowledge is, she decided to become a teacher. The International Teacher Training College in Denmark gave her the opportunity to travel in Asia, to teach at a teacher training college in Africa and experience the Danish small schools.

After graduating she worked at a Danish small school for students with special needs in lower and upper secondary. Having a range of knowledge and interest in the area, Ms Maxi is our Additional Educational Needs Coordinator.

Maxi has been living in Denmark since 2008, enjoying life with her husband and children in the beautiful heart of Jutland.
