Diane Davis
Year 4 Class
Diane Davis was born in Germany but moved to the United Kingdom at the age of 18 months. Her father was in the British armed forces so she naturally moved with him. To ensure a settled education, her parents decided to send her to boarding school just outside Bristol, where she flourished as a student and made lifelong friends.
After finishing her education, she moved to Germany to live with her father. While in Germany she taught herself German, which she speaks at a conversational level. In 2006 Diane returned to England and settled in Cirencester, before moving to Gloucester.
In her 30s Diane decided to broaden her education; she qualified as a teacher with a BEd (Hons) degree in 2004 from the University of Gloucestershire. She worked in a variety of primary schools in Gloucestershire, teaching children from different backgrounds. In 2012 she moved to Denmark and joined the team at ISIB.
Diane is an experienced primary teacher and has moved into Year 4 after teaching in Year2 for 2 years and Year 5 for several years. She is passionate about children, and giving them opportunities to learn in different ways through interesting topics in her classroom.
Diane enjoys family life and hygge times at home. She often has a DIY project on the go, renovating her family home with her husband. She is proud to be a grandma too, and currently has two beautiful grandchildren in the UK.
