N.L. Thygesen Fund
International School Ikast-Brande was founded in 2009. Niels Laurits Thygesen was the Chairman from the beginning of the school’s existence until 2019. Educating young people is very important to Niels Laurits Thygesen, and to him, education is a very important foundation for each individual, and society as a whole. Niels Laurits Thygesen has continuously, and with great enthusiasm, worked to develop International School Ikast-Brande throughout his time as Chairman.

Based on the school’s positive development and how globalisation has increased in society, Niels Laurits Thygesen has founded a fund to support students at International School Ikast-Brande. The aim of the fund is to make it possible for students from financially less able families to attend International School Ikast-Brande by supporting these families financially via the school.
