The ability to think and adapt.

The Danish Minister for Children and Education recently gave a speech, ‘Together for the school’, talking about some of the problems occurring in the Danish education system and how the Government may be looking to Norway to help. Norway has the largest gender gap in attainment between boys and girls and a low reading ability. So why choose them?

Among other things she discussed whether Denmark's too narrow curriculum needs to be reviewed and introducing more subjects!!

We at ISIB don’t believe more subjects will help, we believe that teaching methods and the ways of learning and thinking are more important. If you have read the OECD paper on Education in 2030 it is not more subjects we need - but more ability to adapt and think. That is what the ISIB strategic plan is all about.
