International School Ikast-Brande
Family Circle

Welcome to ISIB Family Circle. The heart of school’s parent community.

But what exactly is the ISIB family circle, you may wonder?

The Family Circle is a vital component of our school, dedicated to fortifying the bonds within our parent community, fostering social connections and welcoming newcomers to ISIB. It serves as a vital link between the school administrative team and our parent community.

As part of the family circle, we organise a wide array of events, all of which receive tremendous support from our enthusiastic members.

These events include the school run (prior to the autumn break), Halloween party, Christmas party, Lucia Celebration, staff appreciation events, various sports activities, cultural and open house days, as well as informal coffee mornings, among others.

ISIB Family Circle has a presence on Facebook, and we invite you to join the group. This platform offers a convenient way to share ideas, get information and get involved in activities in and around ISIB community.

WhatsApp groups are also created for each class level. If you'd like to be added to your child's class group, please let us know.

These WhatsApp groups facilitate communication regarding classroom updates, homework questions, class events, birthday invitations and general information sharing within the class. Please note that the teachers are not part of these groups and is only for the parents of the class.

Furthermore, on each class level. We have designated 1-2 class representatives who maintain close contact with ISIB Family Circle coordinators. They serve as a valuable resource for finding assistance and support for school-planned events. Class representatives also have the opportunity to propose ideas and coordinate events specific to their class, and they can act as liaisons between parents and homeroom teachers when needed.

We wish you a great start at our wonderful school and please contact us if you have any questions.
