20th November 2020: Freddy the Teddy blasts off!
Our very own ISIB bear, Freddy the Teddy, has been busy visiting the CSG (Centre Spatiale Guayanais) in French Guayane, South America. Behind Freddy the Teddy you can see a full scale model of the Ariane 5 rocket.

Olga Díaz, who works at CNES (National Center of Space Studies) visited ISIB last year and showed Primary and Secondary students what she does and explained how rockets work. Olga has collaborated to design the rocket, and now she is in the French Guayane to test the rocket. After visiting our school, she took along Freddy as an apprentice rocket scientist.

Congratulations to Olga for her work on aeronautical engineering and huge thanks for coming to talk to ISIB students.
